When I arrived in Ubud for my Bali pilgrimage, I wanted a place that felt welcoming, restorative, and close to both the heart of town and the sacred sites we would visit. Ketut’s Place Cottages became the perfect sanctuary to begin my journey.
From the moment I arrived late at night, the staff greeted me with warmth, carried my luggage, and guided me gently into a peaceful suite with a pool view. Spacious, simple, and infused with Balinese charm, it was exactly what I needed to land after a long journey.
Each morning began with a nourishing breakfast—fresh fruit, omelets, juices (the dragonfruit became my obsession!), and beautifully prepared local dishes. And the spa? An absolute highlight. From the soothing Boreh body treatment to the flower bath, and a massage that melted away jet lag, every detail felt intentional and sacred.

What I’ll remember most, though, is the atmosphere. Quiet. Serene. Full of lush greenery and traditional architecture that made me feel instantly connected to the spirit of Bali. The staff not only cared for the logistics of my stay but created an environment that allowed me to soften, rest, and prepare for the sacred pilgrimage ahead.
Ketut’s Place was the perfect energetic preparation—a bridge between the bustle of travel and the depth of ceremony. Here, I felt held, nourished, and ready.
🌸 My Rating: 🌸🌸🌸🌸 🌸 (5 out of 5 lotus flowers)
